Data & profiles
Export CSVAdult-managed pilot data. Use coded profiles only after obtaining and documenting appropriate permission. This app records your confirmation; it does not verify a parent’s identity or obtain consent on their behalf.
Create a coded profile for each student, then use its Create student link button. Give each student their own link. Keep your teacher link private.

Pilot overview
These are participating-user observations, not validated population norms. Age summaries use each student’s median across first, completed, uninterrupted one-minute attempts at that level. Each student contributes once per age and level. Only benchmark-opted-in profiles are included. Repeats, incomplete rounds, and interrupted rounds remain in the history and export.

Practice history
Latest 100 practice sessions. Active time pauses when the app is hidden, loses focus, or has no interaction for 30 seconds. Partial sessions are retained. Export practice CSV
Recent attempts
Latest 100 attempts. Each new attempt includes practice since the previous assessment at any level, the gap from its end (or start if unfinished), and score changes from the last completed uninterrupted assessment at the same level. Before the first assessment, all retained recorded practice is included. Earlier practice cannot be reconstructed. Export includes every retained attempt. Full-noun completion time is shown separately; it is not extrapolated to a one-minute rate.
Data use, consent, retention, and deletion
Rachel Shunk operates this pilot. Public activities do not require an account. Recorded data is accessible to the app owner and the responsible teacher through protected access. A student link records activities only for its assigned coded profile and cannot open the class dashboard. Anyone holding a private teacher link can access that class, so share only individual student links with students. Profiles use random codes; they are pseudonymous, not guaranteed anonymous. A responsible adult keeps any link to a student’s identity and consent documents outside this app.
Recorded practice includes passage titles, selected word positions, nouns found, errors, active time, dates, completion and answer-reveal status. Assessment records include a snapshot of preceding practice and elapsed time since the previous assessment. Record practice and assessments under the same coded profile. Ensure documented permission covers these activity records. Recorded attempts contain profile age and grade at the time of the activity, learning setting, passage and answer-key version, assessment mode, device category, exposure number, timing and interruption information, selected word positions, and scores. We do not ask for names, precise birth dates, images, audio, or school names. No third-party advertising or analytics scripts are added.
Results support the participant’s activities. Benchmark and product-development summaries use only profiles with the additional opt-in. No record collection occurs during “Untracked use.” This app’s confirmation form is not a parent-identity verification method. Obtain appropriate permission before recording, and do not treat a general school approval as permission for unrelated commercial uses.
Each profile expires 180 days after creation or renewal; attempts also have a 180-day retention limit. Expired profiles and associated attempts are excluded and removed on the next data-system request. “Withdraw consent & delete” removes the profile and all associated attempts from the app. Previously downloaded exports must be managed and deleted separately by their recipient. Contact the responsible adult or rshunk@gmail.com to request review or deletion.
